Provence Lavender fields

Shooting Lavender in Provence, wedding planner Provence .

Provence has always inspired by its sweetness of life, its authenticity, its flavors, its smells but above all, it is the lavender fields that make people dream around the world.

It’s the reason why it was obvious for us to create an editorial around the lavender in the heart of this purple and wild Provence mixing glamour and finesse.
When Audrey Paris Photo contacted us to join her for a shoot at Valensole, we jumped at the chance and mixed our ideas together to create the perfect match. A perfect synchronicity moment … a very good sign to realize an unforgettable shooting at the heart of this special year.

Weddings and their energies sorely missed this season and we wanted to shoot a long table of 50 seats, all in natural beige colors and textures for the tableware of @jolibazaar and furniture from @belounge. For the flowers we thought to have a vegetal garland runner with a touch of purple created by l’arrosoir de Margaux. We wanted something simple without too many flowers to give the lavender and sage fields plenty of space to express themselves and it was just perfect. We created some corners as a bicycle with a basket full of flower, a florist corner table to highlight the beautiful cake made by Made in Cake.

Elegance is provided by these large chandeliers which illuminate the table. And the multitudes of candles come to bring this warm and intimate side to it. For stationery, we were inspired with Crème de Papier by the purple color and a Baudelaire’s poem “Enivrez-vous” declaimed by Serge Reggiani which provides a very particular emotion a mixture of intensity, of a furious desire to enjoy life… an ode to life. The tie and dye and the watercolor on a natural white paper seemed to us the most appropriate in order to respect this natural, purple and refined aspect.

For the dress, a desire for intoxicating lightness … like a light veil floating in the air into the Mistral of this beautiful Provence. Not white color but rather a soft cream that combines perfectly with the golden hours of the sunset. This little beauty from Rara Avis was loaned to us by the Top Bridal Paris boutique. Beauty realized by Modern Bride Paris also combined this natural side with the hair in the wind and makeup in soft shades raised by a glowy touch.

We took advantage of this unique setting to also create a more fashionable editorial in the spirit of a Dolce Vita in Provence to experience this simple art of living that characterizes the South of France so well. Floating laundry drying in the sunniest hours, wooden baskets, wild flowers, delicious market produce, a table in the heart of lavender. As for the color palette, we have remained in shades of pink, purple, beige, vegetable.

We hope you enjoy this little trip to Provence as much as we enjoyed making this editorial
