Always on the lookout for new trends and new worlds to offer their brides and grooms, By Mademoiselle C organized a collaboration between two of its discoveries of the season in Aix-en-Provence.
Anna Lou creates flower crowns under the pseudonym Reine Jeanne, in reference to the woman who once ruled Provence, but also as a tribute to Anna Lou's fascination with sovereigns. She loves working with flowers because they are ephemeral, which is what makes them so beautiful. Reine Jeanne also pays close attention to the language and meaning of flowers, and tells stories through her creations. Anna Lou makes a point of getting to know the people who will wear her wreaths, which are always tailored to the personality of the bride-to-be. She builds her creations around two "star" flowers, then concentrates on the elements that will dress them up and add the "salt" to the wreath. She has a penchant for bright colors and generous arrangements. The wreaths she creates are resolutely bohemian and modern, always with the idea of accompanying moments in life.
Immortalizing life's beautiful moments is the specialty of our second young artist Maélys Izzo, a trendy wedding photographer in Aix-en Provence. She devotes all her free time to capturing the thousand lights of Provence. Her colorful, poetic world of sunsets and laughter is a natural fit for wedding photography. Like Anna Lou, she's a great lover of color and steers clear of conventional codes, favoring candid shots and focusing on all the little details that make up the essence of your wedding.
The wreath designer and wedding photographer teamed up to produce a series of photos and a making-of video for By Mademoiselle C, showcasing the talents of each. An afternoon full of sharing andinspiration , where their styles found a lovely harmony and make us long for bohemian weddings in Provence. We can't wait to work with them again, and we'll keep our eyes peeled!
