26 Apr Flower crowns for a bohemian wedding in Provence
Always on the hunt for new trends and new looks for their brides and grooms, By Mademoiselle C has organized a collaboration of two talents we discovered in Aix-en-Provence this season.
Anna Lou creates flower crowns for her brand « Reine Jeanne », named after the former Queen of Provence. She attaches great importance to what each flower means, she always tries to tell a story. She always gets to know the people that are going to wear her flower crowns. Reine Jeanne very often starts her creations with two « main » flowers and then focuses on all the little elements that will finalize her signature look. She tends to choose bright colours and accumulate lots of flowers. Her flower crowns are a statement accessory that will give the bride a bohemian and modern touch. Anna Lou likes saying that these crowns are accompanying people through this important day.
Capturing moments of life is what our second artist, Maélys Izzo, does: She is a wedding photographer in Aix-en-Provence. She spends her free time taking pictures of the thousands lights of Provence. Her style is colourful and poetic, full of sunsets and smiles which is perfectly adapted to wedding photography. Like Anna-Lou, Maélys is a keen on colours and not a fan of classic pictures. She favours spontaneous shots and won’t forget all the little details that make the soul of your wedding memories.
Our flower crown maker and our wedding photographer have teamed up on a photoshoot for By Mademoiselle C to show their art. It was a very inspiring afternoon where their styles found a lovely harmony and made us dream of bohemian weddings in the South of France. We are looking forward to working with them again but we are still keeping an eye open!
